MASTERS WINTER SERIES
By james.harrison • Feb 4th, 2010 • Category: AMCAThe prestigious Wulfsport British Masters Series has revealed plans to run a winter motocross series late 2010 and early 2011. The ever experienced Ken Winstanley, Masters Race Director commented on this enormous addition to the Masters motocross brand by announcing “I hope this revelation shakes up the winter motocross scene and hopefully wakes up many of the riders who currently have a very limited choice of where to race in the winter months. The last round of the 2010 main series is set for Pontrilas in September, so we will begin the winter championship in October 2010, and my aim is to make this championship the only place people want to ride in the winter”.
This mouth-watering announcement finally provides a response to all those riders longing for a prestigious winter championship. The Masters team will continue to offer its very special and unique format that has seen the likes of Scott Elderfield progress from the 65cc class right through into the Pro’s. This traditional format will be continued and as always with the Masters, will offer some staggering winter prizes!
This extension to the summer series intends to run over a minimum of four rounds on the very best of the UK’s all weather tracks! More news will be announced shortly, so watch this space!
