This is very exciting news for motorcross in the UK as it introduces a globally established, premium energy drink brand to a successful national championship.

The British Masters team are pleased and excited regarding the tie up with Batterydrink, and are confident it will prove to be beneficial to both parties, and most of all the riders.

Skegness’ 1 and a half mile of sandy coastline is perfect as the tide rarely moves onto the top section of beach leaving a lush deep and dry sand for riders to enjoy and test their skills over enduring races.

Top honours receives a whopping £1,000 in the Adult Solo Class, whilst £200 goes out to the winner of the both the Sidecar and Quad classes, as well as a mammoth amount of other top prizes from each of the title sponsors. The Skegness Town Council have extended the opening times of the season to coincide with the weekend of beach racing meaning all pubs and clubs will be open and completely buzzing!

Robert Plant Engineers are this year on board for preparation of the magnificent circuit, which again see’s beach race guru Rob Meek and established Richard Rose at the helm of track design. The event runs on the 12th and 13th November with classes for the quads and sidecars, kids aged 9-15, youth under 18, and a mammoth Adult Solo Race. The entry fee’s for the event have been kept as minimal as possible at the standard entry up until 24th October, and an additional £20 from 25^th October onwards, so book in quickly, space is limited! Entry fee’s are all inclusive and include entry, licence, parking, and camping. Spectating is completely free of charge too, so bring the family and enjoy the whole weekend!

In place of the second PRO Class we will be running an Open 2 Stroke class consisting of 40 riders, 20 MX1 & 20 MX2, each class will again be scored seperatly, top 5 in each class will receive prize money. The overall at the end of the season will got to the top point scorer in the whole class.

Registration for the 2012 Championship will be available from the last round which will be at Dean Moor on the 10th & 11th September 2011 you can either book online or complete a registration form. Entry forms are now available to download by clicking the entry list link! Using the best of the British all weather tracks, registrations are likely to fill up fast, so riders are encouraged to get their registrations forms in quickly! We can only take 200 riders (40 riders per class)!

Expert Unlimited class rules: Any rider who has finished in the top 30 for a 2010 ACU British Championship and finished in the top 20 of the 2010 AMCA Championship and top 3 of the Amateur Championships of the 2010 Masters championships will be considered an Expert rider. These rules are subject to rider numbers and can be modified at the discretion of the office.

This mouth-watering announcement finally provides a response to all those riders longing for a prestigious winter championship. The Masters team will continue to offer its very special and unique format that has seen the likes of Scott Elderfield progress from the 65cc class right through into the Pro’s. This traditional format will be continued and as always with the Masters, will offer some staggering winter prizes!

This extension to the summer series intends to run over a minimum of four rounds on the very best of the UK’s all weather tracks! More news will be announced shortly, so watch this space!
