Michelin Masters
The new Michelin Masters class has been organised along with top tyre company Michelin, a class organised solely for Amateur riders.
Following the 2009 Series success with Michelin supporting the MX2R and Kawasaki Masters classes, Michelin have jumped on board the 2010 Series by supporting an entire Michelin class of racing.
The class is an unlimited race consisting of 40 riders, 20 from MX1 and 20 from the MX2’s. The class results will be split and prize money paid to the top 7 riders in each specific class (the same prize money for top 7 in the Amateur MX1 and MX2 classes), so an astounding…. £40 per race, per class!
Other prizes will include an array of Michelin goodies and not just for the top finishers. The Michelin prizes will be given per round for various different finishing positions, best crashes, fastest laps, holeshots and many more.
This is a very exciting class to be involved in, and if not enough to be winning Michelin tyres, Michelin will be working in conjunction with LG Racing to fit the tyres for the riders!
The 2009 Series will be hard to beat, but with the support of all of the Masters sponsors and riders, Ken Winstanley and the full team will be doing their best to put on an even better series for 2010!
